During a windy night my End Fed Half Wave antenna broke, and I was transmitting WSPR on 40 meter band with my Desktop transmitter. Only a few centimeter of the antenna wire was left, after the 1:49 transformer and antenna tuner. Note to my suprise, that my WSPR signal was heard over EU! 73 Lars SM0TGU

Got my Desktop transmitter running during xmas holiday, this is the last 12 hours to a home made 20 meter long End Fed Half Wave (EFHW) antenna: I got it running from 40m (7 MHz) to 15m (21 MHz) at a ten minute schedule. /Lars SM0TGU

So, I did a test yesterday with an old "give-away" powerbank from "Jula", 2200 mAh but not sure if that is correct... And started the Desktop WSPR with the following settings: It run for aprox. 7 hours. This means that is it possible to test some fun antenna for one day without the need for more power. Just set up some antennas in the forest, in a tree, on your roof or whatever 😀 /Lars SM0TGU

Hi! New user with the Desktop version of the WSPR transmitter. Took 10 minutes and then I was QRV. One hour on 20 meter with an EFHW antenna at very low height above ground, see picture below. Thanks for an amazing and fun product! 73 Lars Thunberg SM0TGU. Loc: JO89WK Sollentuna/Stockholm
