I have flown my WSPR Pico suspended from my DJI Mini 2 drone at 400ft(122Meters) to test the antenna setup. To do that, I used a usb cell phone charger and the Pico's programming cable. That was a total payload for my drone of about 100 grams. The DJI Mini 2 was able to handle it quite well but, it did limit the flight time. Would it be possible to feed the Pico 6 volts from two CR2032's? I have a couple lightweight CR2032 cases with a tiny switch. Also, how difficult would it be to modify the WSPR Pico for higher frequency use? Could it be as simple as removing certain capacitors or inductors with a razor blade to raise the cutoff frequency of the Band Pass Filter? I would love to be able to transmit on the higher bands. And, not having to land my drone with 10 meters of wire attached would be much easier. Right now the higher bands are open for me into Japan. I was flying with a friend of mine who had no ham radio experience whatsoever and he thought it was kind of cool that we were heard in Alaska with just 20 mW from Indiana. (3100 miles / 20 mW = 155 Miles/mW) Wow!

What would be a good checklist of sites to register with prior to a balloon launch? I do have a wsprnet.org account but that is about it. I'm not sure of how to get that data pumped into the balloon tracking websites. Thanks.
