Well, the title is a bit grandiose, but I do hope this is helpful. Way Back in November, I ordered one of Harry's WSPR receivers based on a video from Peter Parker on YouTube. The Laptop is one of the newer style where the mic and speaker out let is on the same jack(???) I couldn't get it to decode any signals after trying a couple of different cables, adapters, etc. No Success. Fast Forward, I had ordered a couple of these little Sabrent USB stereo sound adapters (usb sound card) from Amazon. Today, I pulled the sad little receiver out of the drawer and hooked it up and yessss... we have decodes. Lot's of em. I expected one or two occasional signals.. but there are many decodes! What a cool toy. Sorry it took me so long to figure out the Audio situation. Glad HP saved 3 bucks on a second audio jack.. lol. I have a couple of these little Sabrent USB sound dongles in the shack and they work great! Thank's Harry! fun toys. keep cranking them out.
