I'm just passing by to let you know that I received the WSPR Desktop Transmitter custom 40To6 (thanks for everything Harry) and waiting for an EFHW antenna to be imported. While the EFHW is on its way...I didn't hold back and installed the "small big transmitter" on a 1:9 antenna (vertical) that was modified only by changing the long aluminum 7 meter rod for a piece of wire with the same measurement and installed in the horizontal between two towers, being 4 meters on one side of the balun and 9 meters high on the other. Hi Friends, We are implementing a Beacon WSPR here in the northeast of Brazil and thanks to Harry's kindness who made the changes possible, this beacon will be active on frequencies of 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m and 6m. The 40To6 Desktop Transmiter is on its way to Brazil. I would like to get information about which antenna would be more suitable to achieve better results, the vertical or horizontal antenna.
