3.4MHz High Pass filter

This High Pass filter is designed to help fix problem of overloading in receivers when there is a AM transmitter close.
It is primary intended to be used with my Multi-band Receiver but can be used with SDRs or other broadband HF receiver that is affected by overloading.
After this filter is fitted everything below 3.4MHz will be attenuated greatly. At the frequencies AM transmitters operate the attenuation is 50dB or more.
Please note that you will therefor not be able to receive anything below this frequency E.g the 2190m, 630m and 160m band will be blocked.

 
The filter is a partial kit.
All the SMD components have been presoldered but the SMA connectors needs to be soldered and the board fitted in to the included small plastic case.
 
The board is for receive only, if you transmit with more power than 0.5W in to it it will be damaged.
 
Attenuation is at around 1dB and the filter is usable up to 6m.
